The Scribner Bridge, clean and simple, stands in the river bottom lands of the Gihon. Probably built as an open bridge, it employs a one-third high queenpost-like truss using iron rods to support the stringers.

Our thanks to the Town of Johnson for allowing the posting of the Vermont Covered Bridge Society Welcome patch. For more information about the Johnson area visit their website at www.townofjohnson.com.
